What Brick House Clients Are Saying

I have been running for years, but never understood how or why to include weight training into my routine. I would sometimes see something random on the internet, would try it briefly and get bored or tired or even hurt before just giving up. I wanted to try something more complete but didn't even know how to try that- weight training can seem very intimidating from the outside- but when I saw Rachel's post on IG I jumped at the chance to train with her, a licensed PT, and it has been even better than I thought. Rachel is like any really good therapist/doctor, she is playing some sort of 3D chess where she is building your program and seeing how far you can go before you even believe it yourself. Also every week she is answering my annoying questions, helping to tweak my form, and hyping me up. I feel better and stronger than I have in a long time and I am even getting faster! She is amazing. Run don't walk to sign up!

Transformative & Empowering!
I have been working with Rachel for almost 5 months. This has been the most positive and supportive experience I’ve had exercising with a trainer!
I’m a scientist so I like to know how and why things work. Rachel has patiently explained exercises to me in detail and helped me understand what it is that I’m aiming to do. I started out as a novice and now I know my way around the gym and I’m confident lifting weights. Rachel has met me exactly where I’m at - always providing technical and fun workout programs for me to keep me excited, engaged and significantly increase my strength. Even my four-year-old noticed that I am stronger now!
Rachel has not only made me stronger physically, but improved my confidence, mental health, and perimenopausal symptoms. I have lingering injuries from high school and Rachel is able to work with me on those as well as adapt my programs to my specific needs. I’m doing a remote based program with Rachel and she is always available and ready to answer questions over phone or text.
I highly recommend Rachel to anyone who is looking for a female trainer who is fun to work with, offers customized programs to meet your needs, is extensively trained with a PhD in physical therapy, and can provide high level nutritional advice to aid in muscle growth and recovery.
Best of all? I feel good again! Worth every penny! Thank you, Rachel for helping me find my mojo again!

I never thought I’d use my husband’s 20-lb dumbbells or need my own 30-pounders! Thanks to Rachel and Brick House Strength Training, I have personalized workouts and I’m challenging myself to lift heavier and workout more efficiently! The hybrid/remote model is super convenient and still has the personalized touch of checking in regularly and workout out in person once a month. Highly recommended!

Rachel is a wonderful trainer and has helped me so much to get stronger, improve my fitness, and even even grow some muscles! She is highly knowledgeable as a she is also a physical therapist and I trust her to develop a comprehensive workout. Bonus is she is warm, funny, and an excellent communicator. I cannot recommend Rachel highly enough as a personal trainer.

Rachel is truly exceptional at what she does. I'd been thinking about returning to the gym after many years away (and not much experience when I'd gone before) and after just a few sessions, Rachel has helped me feel comfortable and confident in the gym with barbell squats, bench presses, and deadlifts. Since she's also a physical therapist, she's uniquely equipped to laser in on your movements making sure they are safe and effective. I'm so glad I decided to work with her and made the leap back to the gym after years of using dumbbells at home. If you're new to barbells, lifting, or just want someone to help you get an awesome, targeted routine, she's the perfect guide. She makes lifting accessible, unpretentious, and fun. I recommend her wholeheartedly.
